Every other bead breaker loses force the moment its screw turns the corner — that's why you need a hammer.
Ours doesn't turn corners. Patented in-line clamp. No hammer, ever.

4.2 Tons Max Clamp Force
Translation: It grips the rim hard enough that the tool stays put while you work.
9.0 Tons Peak Ram Force
Translation: Enough push to pop a stubborn, rusted-on bead.
HRC 30 / 130,000 psi Tensile Strength — Tool Body & Ram Foot
Translation: The body won't bend or deform on you under full load.
HRC 36 / 150,000 psi Tensile Strength — Screws
Translation: You can lean on an impact wrench without worrying about the screws.
Fits Tires Under 32" OD
Translation: Covers ATV, UTV, mower, trailer, and light truck wheels.
Ergonomic Integrated Handle
Translation: You can carry and position it one-handed.
Slotted Hinge Design — no weak pin to break
Translation: There's no pin to snap on you mid-job.
Accessory Clamp Arms Available (Extended Arm / Clamp Post for rock rims)
Translation: One tool adapts to odd rims instead of buying another one.
3-Year Warranty
Translation: If it fails in three years of hard use, we replace it.

One-piece investment casting, FEA-optimized. No welds. No joints. Nothing to crack.

ATV / UTV / small wheels

A weld is only as strong as the joint. We don't have joints.
Patented in-line clamp screw. Single-body investment casting. 3-year warranty, made in the USA.
No hammer. No hydraulics. No shop compressor required.
Set the clamp arm and pad against the rim, opposite the valve stem.
Tighten the Clamp Screw by hand until snug — no hammer needed to seat it.
Continue tightening (impact wrench compatible) until the Ram Foot contacts the tire sidewall.
Apply ram force until the bead breaks free — repeat on the opposite side if needed.
Real footage — one impact wrench, no hammer, no hydraulics.

Patented in-line clamp screw. Investment cast in one piece. Zero welds.
4.2 tons at the clamp pad, 9.0 tons at the ram.
US Patented in-line clamp screw — force stays in-line, not around a corner.
Investment cast AISI 4140 steel body — zero welds, FEA optimized.
Backed by a 3-Year Warranty and built in the USA.
Impact-wrench-ready Grade 8 / ASTM A574 screws.

The Tool Body and Ram Foot are manufactured by Investment Casting (aka. Lost Wax Casting) — a high-precision, high-quality method also used to manufacture jet engine turbine blades.
Every part is a single body with no welds. Critical high-stress regions are packed with material for ultimate strength.
The final design was optimized with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for extra durability while saving weight.
Both parts are made from AISI 4140 steel, a high-strength chrome-moly alloy, hardened to HRC 30 with a min. tensile strength of 130,000 psi.
Translation: one solid piece of aircraft-grade steel. There is no weld to crack.
Others: stamped and welded plate — the welds are the weak point.

An ergonomic handle is integrated directly into the Tool Body casting, giving the user a secure grip to apply the force needed to seat the feet underneath the lip of the rim.
Translation: the handle is part of the tool body, so it can never work loose.
Others: bolted-on or welded handles that loosen and twist.

All BeadBuster bead breakers feature the Clamping Screw in-line with the clamping direction — the heart of our US Patent.
Every other screw-actuated design mounts the screw perpendicular to the clamping direction, losing nearly all mechanical advantage as force "turns the corner." Those tools are notoriously difficult to clamp all the way.
The BeadBuster Clamp Screw pushes in the direction that maximizes clamping force — an incredible 4.2 tons max at the Clamp Pad on the XB-450i. BeadBuster tools never need a hammer to get into position.
Translation: it clamps tight with a wrench alone — no hammering on the rim.
Others: perpendicular screws lose most of their force and usually need a hammer.

The clamp arm is fabricated from AISI 1020 cold-rolled steel — a sturdy grade of mild steel that gives the part ample strength for gripping the rim.
Translation: the arm holds its shape job after job instead of bending out of spec.
Others: thin flat bar stock that bends the first time it is loaded hard.

The Clamp Arm is fitted with an injection-molded HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Clamp Pad that protects the rim as you break the bead. Aluminum, Magnesium, even Carbon Fiber — the pad prevents scratching and scuffing. HDPE is tough enough to hold up for years on steel wheels too.
Translation: safe on your aluminum, magnesium, or carbon fiber wheels, not just steel.
Others: bare steel jaws that scuff and gouge expensive wheels.

The Clamp and Ram Screws are custom-made 1/2"-13 UNC fully threaded bolts with 3/4" Flanged Hex Heads — sized so a socket won't cover them, letting you see when you've reached end of travel.
Both screws are Grade-8 steel: HRC 36 Rockwell hardness and min. tensile strength of 150,000 psi. Grade 8 means these screws are fully Impact Wrench compatible.
Translation: put your impact gun on it and go — the screws are built for it.
Others: standard bolts that round off, gall, or shear under an impact wrench.

The custom screws both have crowned (rounded) tips. Because the screws push directly on the Clamp Arm and Ram Foot, some material deformation is natural. Crowned tips ensure any mushrooming won't interfere with the female threads of the Tool Body — dramatically improving long-term thread durability.
Translation: years of heavy impact-wrench use won't ruin the threads.
Others: flat-tipped screws mushroom and chew up the threads over time.

The Clamp Arm is retained with a custom high-strength alloy steel Clevis Pin — but during use the pin sees very little force. Slotted holes in the Tool Body let the corner of the Clamp Arm bear directly against the body, absorbing the majority of the reaction force. That eliminates the need for a precision tolerance hole and removes the failure mode of a broken pin.
Translation: there's no pin to snap on you mid-job.
Others: a single hinge pin carries the load — and snaps.

The female thread of the Ram Screw is a full 2× the nominal (1/2") thread diameter — 1" of engagement. Combined with the high-strength materials, a substantial peak force of 9.0 tons can be achieved by the Ram.
The threads are so robust that the torque required to shear the Grade-8 bolt (~83 ft-lbs) is substantially lower than the torque needed to cause thread failure. Keep them greased, and it's virtually impossible to strip the threads — you'd shear the (easily replaced) bolt first.
Translation: the bolt breaks before the tool's threads ever do — a $12 bolt is a 5-minute fix, not a reason to buy a new tool.
Others: strip the threads and the whole tool is scrap.

“Works awesome! I use it primarily for Hoosier 970 race tires. I had a set of tires that had been mounted on a race car that was stored outside for years. Water had gotten into the beads and caused rust issues. I couldn't get the beads to break free with the bead breaker on a tire machine. The xb450 broke down the beads with almost no trouble at all. Highly recommend this tool if you need a way to change tires at home or at the track.”
“Had mine for a little over a year now. Came in clutch last week when I was doing all 4 sets of wheels for the new season. Removed all 16 tires with tire blocks run flats in them. Highly recommend greasing up the main foot and bolt if doing multiple tires. Small enough to travel with me in the trailer tool kit.”
“The best bead breaker out there! Been racing and running off-road cars for 40+ years now, tried many of the different styles, from the long lever type that you have to stand on to a sledge hammer, the BeadBuster is the easiest and fastest. This tool will allow a 5 year old to an 80 year old to break a bead! I've been using this for over 10 years now.”
“Really excited to have this in my arsenal for this upcoming race season!!!! Being able to break down beads and swap tires is So clutch !!!”
