Clamp down without worry — an injection-molded HDPE Clamp Pad shields the rim as you break the bead. Run it on aluminum, magnesium, even carbon fiber wheels with zero scratching or scuffing. It holds up on steel wheels for years, too.

Both screws are Grade-8 steel: HRC 36 hardness, 150,000 psi minimum tensile strength. That means you can run your impact wrench on it without a second thought.

Crowned tips that save your threads.
Both custom screws have crowned, rounded tips, so when the metal naturally mushrooms from pushing hard on the Clamp Arm and Ram Foot, it never touches the Tool Body's threads — you keep smooth, working threads for years, not months.

Others: flat-tipped screws mushroom and chew up the threads over time.

You get a custom high-strength alloy Clevis Pin that barely does any work — slotted holes in the Tool Body let the Clamp Arm brace directly against the body, so the pin never takes the brunt of the force. Fewer parts under stress means one less thing to fail on you.

9.0 tons of ram force you can't strip.
You get 1" of thread engagement — double the nominal 1/2" diameter — so the Ram delivers a peak force of 9.0 tons without stripping.
Keep the threads greased and you'll shear the Grade-8 bolt (~83 ft-lbs) long before you ever touch thread failure. That's the point: a $12 bolt breaks, not your tool.
Translation: the bolt breaks before the tool's threads ever do — a $12 bolt is a 5-minute fix, not a reason to buy a new tool.
