Every hydraulic bead breaker needs a pump, hoses, and a generator just to make one clamp.
Ours needs a cordless impact wrench. 15.7 tons, no plumbing required.
Ideal for large 1, 2 & 3-piece wheels — tractors, wheel loaders, telehandlers, mining and heavy industrial equipment.

A hydraulic tool is only as strong as its pump. We don't need one.
15.7 Tons Max Clamp Force — over 10X a typical hydraulic tool
Translation: You decide how hard it clamps — no valve cutting you off early.
28.7 Tons Max Ram Force
Translation: Beads that laugh at a hydraulic tool still let go.
13.3 lbs Weight — half the weight of a comparable hydraulic tool
Translation: You can carry it out to the field in one hand.
11" x 9" x 3" Size
Translation: It fits in a service truck toolbox, not a trailer.
4.0" Ram Extension / Stroke
Translation: One pass usually breaks the bead — no repositioning.
4.75" Max Flange Width
Translation: It reaches over wide industrial flanges other tools can't clear.
HRC 52 / 240,000 psi Tensile Strength — AR500 Clamp Straps
Translation: The straps take the abuse instead of stretching out.
HRC 41 / 170,000 psi Tensile Strength — ACME Screws
Translation: The screws keep turning smoothly after years of impact use.
Runs on a standard cordless impact wrench
Translation: No pump, no hoses, no generator — the tool you already own is all you need.
Only Manual Bead Breaker Built for 2-PC & 3-PC Wheels
Translation: You don't need a shop press or a hydraulic rig for multi-piece rims.
3-in-1 Replacement for Combi / Maxi / Euro Hydraulic Tools
Translation: One purchase replaces three specialty tools.
No Hydraulic Hoses — nothing to leak, no pump to fail
Translation: Nothing to bleed, refill, or clean off the shop floor.
Operator-Controlled Clamping (vs. hydraulic auto-valve that switches over early)
Translation: The tool does what you tell it, not what a valve decides.

Patented design. 15.7 tons clamp, 28.7 tons ram, 13.3 lbs. Zero welds.
15.7 tons at the clamp, 28.7 tons at the ram — handles 2 & 3-pc wheels.
US Patented in-line clamp screw — force stays in-line, not around a corner.
Investment cast AISI 4140 steel body — zero welds, FEA optimized.
Backed by a 3-Year Warranty and built in the USA.
Impact-wrench-ready Grade 8 / ASTM A574 screws.

The Tool Body, Ram Foot, Clamp Arm, and Clamp Carrier are manufactured by Investment Casting (aka. Lost Wax Casting) — a high-precision, high-quality method also used to manufacture jet engine turbine blades.
Every part is a single body with no welds. Critical high-stress regions are packed with material for ultimate strength.
The final design was optimized with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) for extra durability while saving weight.
Castings are made from AISI 4140 steel, a high-strength chrome-moly alloy, hardened to HRC 30 with a min. tensile strength of 130,000 psi.
Translation: every major part is one solid piece of chrome-moly. Nothing to crack, nothing to leak.
Others: welded frames and hydraulic housings that crack or leak under load.

An ergonomic handle is integrated directly into the Tool Body casting, giving a secure grip to position the tool around the rim. It serves double duty as a structural member between the Clamp and Ram frames.
Translation: one hand carries and positions the whole tool.
Others: hydraulic tools you carry two-handed, plus a pump and hoses.

All BeadBuster bead breakers feature the Clamping Screw in-line with the clamping direction — part of our US Patent. The XB-650i is the first screw-actuated bead breaker to use the Clamp Strap mechanism found in hydraulic bead breakers, allowing maximum in-line clamping force at the rim.
Crucially, the operator decides when clamping is finished — unlike hydraulic tools with automatic pressure valves that often switch over prematurely. The XB-650i INDUSTRIAL reaches an incredible 15.7 tons max — over 10× what a typical hydraulic tool can achieve.
Translation: you decide when it's clamped tight enough. A hydraulic tool's pressure valve decides for you — and caps out at 1.5 tons.
Others: a hydraulic pressure valve stops clamping for you, often too early.
The Clamp Straps use a weight-saving design in Ultra-High-Strength AR500 steel — Rockwell hardness HRC 52, tensile strength 240,000 psi.
Translation: built from the same steel used in armor plating — it's not going to be the part that fails.
Others: mild steel straps and links that stretch or fail first.

The XB-650i has a 2-Sided Ram Foot (Long Side and Short Side) that can be removed and flipped around. This reproduces the foot geometry of both the "Combi" and "Maxi" hydraulic tool foot lengths for a wide range of wheel flange sizes.
The XB-650i works on any large 1-pc wheel, and all 2-pc and 3-pc wheels that traditionally only hydraulic tools could handle.
Translation: one foot flips over and covers both hydraulic tool sizes.
Others: a separate Combi and Maxi tool — two purchases to cover the same range.

The Ram and Hold Feet have a built-in curve that better matches the profile of a wheel than straight feet — for a truer contact and a more secure bite.
Translation: the feet sit flush on the wheel so the tool doesn't slip.
Others: flat feet that slip off the rim mid-push.

The Clamp and Ram Screws are custom-made 3/4"-10 ACME bolts with 1-1/8" heavy Hex Heads sized to fit standard length sockets.
Both screws are made from ASTM A574 steel — Rockwell hardness HRC 41, min. tensile strength 170,000 psi. ASTM A574 is the gold standard for industrial structural fasteners, meaning these screws are fully Impact Wrench compatible.
Translation: you can run this with your cordless impact wrench without babying the screws.
Others: hand-cranked or pump-driven — slow, and hard on the operator.

The captive Ram Screw engages with a floating Ram Nut within the frame of the Ram Foot, allowing the Ram Foot to twist and pivot around the thread engagement point — without binding or side-loading the Ram threads.
The Ram Nut (hardened 4140 steel) has 2× the nominal thread diameter — a full 1.5" of engagement. Combined with the materials, a peak force of 28.7 tons can be achieved by the Ram — more than double what a hydraulic bead breaker can do.
Translation: more power than the biggest hydraulic units on the market, twice over.
Others: around 13.8 tons from a full hydraulic setup.
The threads are so robust that shearing the ASTM A574 bolt (~362 ft-lbs) takes less torque than causing thread failure. Keep them greased and it's virtually impossible to strip the threads — you'd shear the (easily replaceable) bolt first. Both parts are in the Rebuild Kit (BB8X-RSW-RBK).
Translation: the bolt gives out long before the tool does — and it's a cheap, 5-minute swap.
Others: a blown hydraulic seal or ram means a shop repair.

The Ram Screw is captive in the Tool Body. A Thrust Bearing Stack — an oil-impregnated thrust bearing between two bearing steel washers — loads against the inside of the Tool Body and a Hog Ring snapped into a groove on the shaft. Special countersink geometry compresses the music-wire Hog Ring into the Ram Screw for a positive locking capture.
Translation: the screw can't fall out or get lost in the mud.
Others: loose screws and parts that walk off the job site.

The Clamp Screw is captive in the Tool Body. A Thrust Bearing Stack loads against the outside of the Tool Body and the underside of the Clamp Screw hex head. On the inside of the Clamp Carrier frame, the Clamp Screw is captured by a custom-made Castle Nut and a Roll Pin.
Translation: nothing to disassemble, drop, or misplace on a job site.
Others: multi-piece setups you have to assemble every time.

The Clamp Arm Hinge has 2 positions. The upper position handles typical flange widths on 3-pc wheels. The lower position lets the Clamp Arm reach further and around a wider rim flange.
The hinge geometry is optimized to save weight yet handle the highest clamping loads. The hinge pin is non-structural — it just retains the Clamp Arm. Reaction forces go directly into a journal cast into the Tool Body, and the end of the Clamp Arm acts as the pivot hinge. Heavy hinge-pin performance without actually using any pin at all.
Translation: there's no pin to snap, and it reaches wide flanges other tools can't.
Others: fixed geometry that won't fit wider flanges.
